Body Temple: A Ritual of the Body.
Your body is not something to control, fix, or transcend—it is a temple, a portal, a living altar, a home for God.
Nervous system regulation is all the rage now & I guess it is somewhat well-deserved. However, regulation is not about being calm. It is about being free. Free to honor the natural cycles of activation & expression that exist within us as wild, intelligent, feeling beings.
In this practice, we assume activation rather than suppress it. We welcome the full spectrum of aliveness—the trembling, the pulsing, the unwinding, the erupting—because our bodies are not meant to be still and serene at all times.
Western spirituality has conditioned us to seek peace above all else, but true embodiment is not about silencing the storm—it’s about learning to dance with it.
